Some projects are particularly complex. For example, in some cases an existing plant may have to be refitted without interfering with ongoing operation, or in others the required solution may not be readily apparent.
In such cases, it makes sense to first develop the ideal solution in an engineering project. This way, you can profit from the experience of our specialists, but you are still free to choose any suppliers you want when it comes to the procurement of the plant.
Engineering projects go through several phases, which are shaped to suit your particular needs:
Phase 1
Analysis phase
Together with you we summarise the project objectives and define the requirements. We establish a precise picture of the actual situation, determine consumption quantities and the work involved in operation and maintenance, and prepare a quantity survey. The results are summarised in a technical specification.
Phase 2
Basic engineering
Based on the results of the analysis, plant concepts are developed and discussed. After narrowing down the potential choices, 1 or 2 concepts are developed in detail. In the course of the basic engineering, process diagrams and installation plans are prepared and a great deal of other information, such as load data for foundations or the electrical consumers, is compiled.
We provide you with firm offers for the implementation of the concepts. By comparing this with the actual situation, you can determine the savings potential and use it as basis for your investment calculations.
Phase 3
A road map for realisation
The first thing to consider for the realisation of a project is your operational imperatives, such as the time frame in which the work must be done or whether or not lime or powdered activated carbon must still be available during the construction work.
Phase 4
Documentation
You receive all results and papers neatly packaged in the project documentation. We also prepare a firm offer for you for the realisation of your project.
