Roots

Karl Heinz Schaub founds GNA - Gesellschaft für Nassaufbereitungstechnik mbH with two partners
 

1974-2009

Development to independence

  • GNA develops into a leading supplier of lime and powdered activated carbon plants. Hundreds of plants are put into operation worldwide
  • The ownership structure changes several times. In 2005, a medium-sized group of companies acquires the majority of the company shares
  • Karl Heinz Schaub remains managing partner of GNA.


     

2010

Decision to separate

The shareholders have different views on the strategic direction of the company and the decision is made to part company by mutual agreement.
 

OCTOBER 2010

Foundation of SCHAUB UMWELTTECHNIK GMBH

Michael Schaub founds SCHAUB Umwelttechnik GmbH together with Karl Heinz Schaub and Josef Liedl. All of GNA's service and expertise providers are involved right from the start and consistently develop GNA's core business further.
 

2015

Expansion of the group of companies

As part of the company's planned development, Rüdiger Meyer, an experienced sales engineer, joins the company as Head of Sales & Marketing and becomes a shareholder.

 

2017

Expansion of the managment team

Rüdiger Meyer is appointed Managing Director alongside Michael Schaub.
