Year of execution: 2016

Construction of an activated carbon storage and dosing unit for the GKW Wendlingen. The order included a 125m3 silo with integrated air loosening system and a rotary valve with downstream spreading auger.

The gravimetric fine doser has a capacity of 4 to 40 kg/h powder activated carbon.

For mixing and complete wetting of the activated carbon powder with water as well as for further transport to the dosing points, a water dosing unit is installed to feed the water jet pump or the induction hopper, each of which is also equipped with a flow meter with a downstream control valve to ensure a constant water supply.
